becoming part of our identities, 

as we practice, these traditions.

Been constructed over the years, 

with the heritage that they bear,

keep us together, under the ceilings, 

of common history, of shared values. 

It can vary, along the regions,

in the families, community & religions,

a sense of belonging, in its continuity,

be a source of security & connections. 

For centuries, civilization grew,

diversified their ways of livings, 

forming habits, out of dependency,

to their native circumstances. 

Developing a pride, spread afar,

being welcomed for their craft,

yet, they brew strife and wars,

destroying native practice & institutions. 

Local traditions...

They should be nurtured,

for, they signify human spirit, 

shared in folklore and legends,

carried by their faithful followers...

For us, it's a divine blessing!
