Leeway

It's the leeway, that we seek,

spending times, in our interests, 

supported by materialistic possessions, 

providing us, the desires space,

to act, without any concerns. 

And, we chase, better positions,

to escape, our unpleasant situations,

and achieve riches, grabbing attentions, 

that comes with status, and respect,

manifesting our dreams, into reality. 

Some travel, visit newer places,

explore the treasures, they contain, 

with food, lust, diverse pleasures,

that can be acquired, without hassle,

satisfying our cravings, or impulses. 

It's the leeway, that would decide,

most of our worth, in today's society,

behind saintly faces, lies intentions, 

of making a name, find appreciation,

for the efforts, being invested. 

So, cherish the blessings, 

if you ever be that fortunate, 

to have the leeway, in your life,

for your choices, and decisions,

without worries, of any consequences!
