They heal themselves,
from injuries or infections,
living in the wilderness,
away from human interference.
Playing the game of evolution,
the survival of the fittest,
they developed the wisdom,
to protect them, in such events.
Dealing with difficult terrains,
the tree tops or sheer mountains,
a potential fall, down the fissures,
getting injured, stumbling on crevices.
Drinking the cold, murky water,
chomping down decaying foods,
taking rest, on the infested grounds,
even seeking covers, from being hunted.
Yet they heal, using local remedies,
there's no help, coming their way,
limping towards sustenance & safety,
using plants or insects, as medicines.
For, animals are natural pharmacists,
rubbing mud or insects, swallow leaves,
taking care of themselves & families,
without veterinarian, they were healthy.
And we learn, follow examples,
traditional cure to modern medicines,
being prepared, from the observations,
of the selections, in the paths of healing...
