So what appeals in a relationship?
From initial days to longer strip,
not many wants frequent stoppages,
when seeking deeper connections.
It's something that attracts,
stimulating mind, bringing ease at heart,
each interaction was welcomed,
with warm feelings, & cheerful thoughts.
Even in moments, we prefer solitude,
we prefer company, in the quietude,
emotional influences, changing our attitude,
we valued their presence, with gratitude.
Yet, not many keep the magic alive,
falling victim, to individual prides,
where sentiments become transactions,
sold in market, of wealth and attentions.
So, I wondered, in these days,
what sustains relationship, in generations,
without built sacrifices or any devotions,
where social ethics were facing erosion.
May be, we became more acquisitive,
making our bonds, fragile & ineffective,
for, there's nothing, to hold it tight,
every expectation, making it slippery.
Still, there are many such examples,
where relationships lasting life-long...
And we could only do celebrations,
without taking moments, for introspection.
