Fruitless paths...
When I walked,
finding intersections,
forking into directions,
each with propositions,
enticing enough...
Yet, I watched,
relinquishing the chance,
of jumping into dreams
hoping for a better result,
than my present situation...
What if there's no option,
our choices have inhibitions,
feeding on fears, of changes,
that could disturb the harmony,
we seek in our life?
Still, the yearning remains,
looking at those pleasant scenes,
sprouting desires, and emotions,
forcing me to take actions,
only to find disappointments...
And I limit my wishes,
trying to achieve bare minimum,
controlling these cravings,
embracing a life, of discipline,
focusing self, on things at hand
Fruitless paths...
Yet, it might have been,
one of the best course,
providing me the opportunities,
to remain true to myself,
And all concerns were misplaced...
For, grass is greener, on other side!
