Our instincts activates,
when decisions are being made,
that breaks the flow of routine,
catching us unprepared.
Like the signals on the traffic,
changing colors to yellow lights,
giving us moments to decide,
whether to stop or keep driving.
For, life stands on the intersection,
crosswalks being the dilemmas,
that troubles apprehensive hearts,
from taking decisive actions.
There are some genuine concerns,
being analyzed by rational minds,
taking control over our impulses,
calculate risks, in case of emergencies.
And, our instincts activates,
in that brief interval, we deliberate,
not from fear, but mental clarity,
choosing option, with the best outcome.
