Since time immemorial,
they have been chosen,
as a method to connect,
with divine consciousness.
Sacred flames...
Burning like golden sun,
purifying the tainted space,
allowing rituals, to be performed,
as an act of human devotion,
to the elements of nature,
invoking the deities,
for their blessings.
Each culture, has its names,
Holy fire to the eternal flames,
they were considered as medium,
for displaying our reverence,
offering various tributes,
as we chant or pray,
for specific purpose.
Methods vary, culture change,
still, we rely on sacred flames,
conveying intent & resolution,
following local traditions,
yet, they still illuminate,
and heat, warming body,
reaching deeper, into our soul.
