Birbs

They are cute, feathery beings,

entertaining us, with silly antics,

flapping wings, tapping the feet,

sing & dance, or mimic our laughs. 

Birb... 

They are tiny, clever fellows,

coming in pack, or arrive solo,

in white, blue, green, and yellow,

appealing visually, with vivid colors. 

Mostly brought for the voices,

put in cages, suppressing noises,

yet, true nature, exhibits in freedom,

but, few make, intelligent choices. 

The lucky ones, were rewarded, 

building trust, receiving affection, 

each displaying unique personalities, 

charming the hearts, with varieties. 

Still, companionship, comes with a price,

of making commitments, providing care,

they are social, need mental stimulations, 

a loving heart, having time to spend...

Interacting, with these sweet souls.
