Our thoughts play wild games,
transporting us into memory lane,
from the stimulations of senses,
they replay forgotten days...
Evoking nostalgia.
It's a bittersweet feeling,
that arrives without us knowing,
and evokes deep emotions,
yearnings for the lost times,
when things were simpler.
Some were more prone than others,
of catching this fever of longings,
in the small moments or gestures,
acting as stimulus for sensations,
opening locks of memories.
With the scents, and the tastes,
in our sights, or conversations missed,
visiting places, or engage in activities,
experiencing a sense of familiarity,
like opening old folders.
And we replay, memorable scenes,
trying to escape, from present routines,
using the chance, turning back clocks,
like entering our personal password,
opening accounts of youthful years...
