Ethics of the land

The nature blesses us,

with intelligence to grow,

evolve as a community, 

harness surrounding resources, 

and advance, civilizations. 

Yet, the power bestowed, 

is often taken for granted,

exploiting the weaker sections, 

to bolster strength & confidence,

controlling the provinces. 

Ethics of land...

These invisible threads, 

when aligned, with the masses,

create the ecosystems, 

for sustainable growth.

For, it keeps us disciplined, 

forbade from following greed,

as we take conscious decisions, 

fearing chance of repercussions. 

It takes millennia, to adjust,

getting assimilated, into culture,

and every individual, take action,

preserve land, under own volition. 

Wisdoms passed through generations, 

along with stories or traditions, 

policies continued by administration, 

maintain the necessary conditions. 

Yet, situations vary, among nations,

ethics were despised as custom,

where profits were maximized,

using means for oppression. 

For, they devour earth's riches,

while destroying fragile ecosystems,

stripping away everyone's rights,

weather its natives or wildlifes. 

Ethnics of land...

It's important determinant, 

how people remain in harmony,

with their neighbors,

as we could see now,

path towards extinction,

while some nations enjoy,

nature's diverse species,

still flourishing, in sanctuaries!
