In these walls

In these walls, lies stories,

filled with colors, of memories,

left behind, in the fading paints,

facing the brunt, with passing time...

Peeling surfaces, of chipped veneer,

reveals layers, from wear and tear,

each crack, carrying the weights,

moments lived, those forgotten days.

In these protrusions of walls,

being flattened, year after year,

yet it sprouts, with seasons change,

absorbing moisture, under the skin.

Crumbling plasters, falling of edge,

being molded into a natural stage,

bearing imprints of changing realities,

needing attention and some renovation.

In these walls, lies stories,

left untouched, without worries,

thus they retain, relics of past,

a gentle reminder, of things we lost...

Yet, in these walls, a beauty we find,

a testament of life, etched in our mind!
