Cheating

Why do one cheat,

and then wail in defeat,

when promises being broken,

as their bonds were shaken?

And, they lose the sight, 

with secrets and the fights,

straying away from their vision,

as others plead, for the reasons... 

Is it, the power they yield,

of positions, wealth accumulated,

or opportunities that arrived,

when they strive, for freedom?

So, they use their chances, 

without fear, of consequences, 

and indulge it, for casual flings,

that shattered someone's beliefs... 

Then there's force or coercion,

that sways someone's intentions,

or unfulfilled needs or desires,

that was waiting, to be exploited.

And disappointments crosses limits,

some stimulants may sway spirits,

as they keep making mistakes,

that pushed them into disgrace...

Of cheating!
