Choose your elixir

Pick your poison, they say,

forcing us with difficult choices,

and we comply, ready to abide,

caught between rock & a hard place... 

For, we have missed the boat,

there's nothing left to salvage,

having to go through the motions,

after being boxed into a corner. 

But, I would like to defer,

let these challenges not deter,

as they are blessings in disguise, 

if we could weather the storm. 

Know which way, the wind blows,

and get the show, on the roads,

keep trying, come rain or shines, 

every cloud, has a silver lining. 

So, choose your elixir... 

Put your best foot forward,

and rise, to the occasion, 

to pass with flying colors,

then, sky is the limit!
