It doesn't take much time

It doesn't take much time,

for disagreements to rise,

into arguments & conflicts,

when coupled with bruised pride. 

We need discipline and control,

to maintain calm and composure, 

for, emotions floods our mind,

when provided, with free ride. 

And it starts, with giving attention,

to the elements, promoting chaos, 

as a mean, to further their cause,

using the gullible, as their pawn. 

Our insecurities are exploited,

to sell their ideals as products, 

deeply invading our psyches, 

promoting enmity without reasons. 

For, we inherently seek harmony,

connect with others with goodwill,

opening ourselves to perspectives, 

that are unfamiliar to our beliefs. 

Still, we explore, learning things,

trying to come to an understanding,

sometimes find common strings, 

letting us nurture our bondings. 

It doesn't take much time,

for us to relate with others,

when our intentions are good,

and interactions are sincere.
