Danced to your tune

You expect me to abide,

without a say, letting you decide,

as you feed instructions in a spoon,

and I, would dance to your tunes... 

My thoughts ignored, are skimmed, 

while your opinions, fill to the brim,

there's new mistake, in every step,

that are independent, from your plans. 

Then you inquire, why I feel tired, 

where's raw emotions, to light the fire,

adding dynamism into our relations,

touch of ecstasy, breath of passion. 

Yet, I have tried, catch your eyes, 

putting efforts, through my style,

but, you find flaws, and criticize, 

denounce results, remain dissatisfied. 

Treating love & affection as rewards,

you seek to subdue, tame wild heart,

when it's about mutual connections, 

you use manipulation for gaining control. 

And you wonder, how distance grew,

when our bond was forever & true,

if only you realized, addressed it soon,

I might have, danced to your tune.
