Water crisis

"Oh mankind, beware of coming days,

where you will face, the consequence, 

of trying to control, and dominate,

your surroundings, through exploitation!" 

Water crisis... 

It's a foreshadowing, 

of the dangers ahead,

affecting billions of people,

regardless of cities or villages. 

For, we were blind, to the signs,

depleting reservoirs, losing precious time,

while polluting, the ones available,

with sewage and chemical wastage. 

What the use, of your wealth,

big houses in concrete jungles,

all the pools and the showers, 

when the pipes were being dried. 

Even the farms, in the villages,

of wheat, rice and sugarcane,

would be lost, or being destroyed,

if bore well & hand pump don't work. 

It's a tragedy of grand scale,

created by the selfish & corrupted,

stopping any policies, to be made,

to save and promote, water bodies... 

And sooner, we would witness,

things beyond climate change, 

facing both flood and drought,

toxin seeping into the very source... 

Water crisis...a catastrophe!!
