Illusion of time

Time, like a river it flows,

Straight, in its linear form,

in our mind, in our heart,

from our mornings, to the nights... 

We, human, are time bound creatures, 

sort out, our past, present & future,

recalling moments, of youthful years,

to have worries, of becoming older. 

Yet, nothing is, what it seems,

we are all the same, within,

with the power, to control changes,

our perceptions, of the reality. 

So, what does it take?

To escape, these train of thoughts,

shifting perspectives, for larger role,

or just attain awareness, of life's flow... 

For, every living being followed a cycle,

ending in days, or might last years,

being engaged, in their daily activities, 

following routines, ingrained in system. 

Yet, we differentiate, allocate intents,

getting sensitive, to the season's change, 

as if getting entangled, in an illusion,

of mental clocks, keep ticking away.
