It's a feud, amongst two foes,
asking for their master's attention,
one who want to let him relax,
other, making him awake & alert.
"You are an evil being,
taking away owner's sleep,
tormenting us every morning,
with shrill cries, so high-pitched!!"
Spoken by angry Bed.
" Dear bed, I have my duty,
warn master, of your plotting,
to control, of his mental faculties,
making him slothful & lazy.
An adamant Alarm replied.
"Stop with your accusations,
I only want my master's pleasures,
indulging in some moments of leisure,
after the day of working tirelessly."
The bed protested with broken voice.
"But master needs to work,
go out and explore the world,
thus I was bestowed with power,
to announce the arrival...of dawn"
Alarm soften his tone.
And so, the debate went on,
till their cherished master's return,
as he held the alarm clock,
while laying on the bed,
And he whispers...
"Oh my beloved alarm clock,
keep waking me for my work,
For, I treasure my lovely bed,
that gives me comfort, so I rest"
