Regional chauvinism,
a problem on the rise,
"us vs them" mentality,
eroding fabric of society.
By creating rigid boundaries,
it promotes hostilities inside,
against perceived foreigners,
who have stolen their rights.
It starts with fight for identities,
promoted by numerical superiority,
organizing into groups to protest,
transform into something violent.
Some were genuine causes,
gradually making them blinded,
with prejudices, seeking privileges,
while undermining other perspectives.
Fueling conflicts, and mistrust,
while glorifying personal favorites,
hindering communications, & coexistence,
by dominating regional narratives.
In this era of globalization,
we should support mutual respect,
building bridge of understandings,
and promote universal cooperation.
There's no place...for jingoism!
