In this modern age, 

we reached such a stage,

where work is a burden,

valued only with money. 

Age of consumerism... 

Not about necessities, 

but goods and services, 

built the foundations, 

and drive our economy. 

Breaking monotony,

they bring fresh changes,

promoting Individualism, 

over unity of families. 

It's about competitions,

selling more products, 

downgrading the qualities,

to shorten the lifespan. 

It's not only materials,

even relationships suffer,

having cosmetic criteria,

to validate connections. 

Age of consumerism... 

It's like a mental conditioning, 

forcing us to earn payments,

only to be spent on amenities, 

which were not even needed. 

And we become negligent, 

addicted to conveniences, 

while using the excuses,

for using their services.
