If we could be genial hosts,
to these avian neighbors,
providing a place for rest,
and nibbles, for hungry stomachs,
it would be a great help.
For, they might be struggling,
dealing with human activities,
destroying habitats of many,
even feeding grounds missing,
leaving them high and dry.
If we could be genial hosts,
keeping some water and food,
in different corner of home,
or donate for those who work,
in the noble act of service.
For, they are silent sufferers,
without someone to give ears,
protecting their right to survive,
to grow, procreate and thrive,
without human interference.
If we could be genial hosts,
we will contribute our share,
to build a harmonious coexistence,
between human and nature,
even if, we occupied everywhere!
