People meet, connections made,
forging bonds, with trust & commitments,
relationships built, standing test of time,
sharing moments and creating memories.
The atmosphere were cordial and relaxed,
spending days playing, with chit-chats,
greet & meet, putting aside differences,
holidays spent, participating in events.
And, we get acclimatized,
unaware of changing times,
priorities shifts, opinions clashes,
weathering storms of disappointments.
Cracks appears on the piers,
standing on the shaky grounds,
the deck once supported traffic,
now weakened, waiting to collapse.
Yet, we walked, believing the words,
keeping faith, becoming complacent,
putting pressures, through our actions,
or being gullible, to discover deception...
Getting shocked, of an abrupt end,
to our journey, a future promised,
and lament, when things went wrong,
watching the bridge, burning down!
