In this world of competitions,

everyone strives to be the best,

setting targets, making promises,

investing dreams, in people's illnesses.

They are doing honorable work,

providing clarity, dispelling doubts, 

giving directions, to the clinicians,

assisting in the path of treatments. 

Diagnostic labs... 

They are the backbones,

of modern healthcare systems,

with array of chemicals & instruments,

supporting the methods of investigations. 

Yet, they are a costly affair,

facing challenges of market demands,

many lose this race against tide,

falling victims to cheaper alternatives. 

And the ones, who would rise,

consolidating volumes, after many tries,

prioritizing quantities over qualities, 

to meet demands, in limited times.

Still, there are few, passionate ones,

providing service, bearing the costs,

while others, using marketing policies, 

to gather clients, with attractive discounts. 

Diagnostic labs... 

And I wonder the cause,

of us losing its true importance,

in the quest of surviving or expand,

they might compromise quality...

PS :  There are many mushrooming diagnostic labs in our country. Only a few could maintain quality as it's costly to maintain.

It also means, many might miss out of assessable and faster quality reports.
