Hear the voice,
calling of the innermost place,
within you, within me....
Try to ignore, or avoid,
the warnings or signs,
at what cost, our time?
So, listen when there's need,
even if a whisper or a scream,
within you, within me...
Work it out, or share,
for support or helpful ears,
to let out, to heal.
Bottling it up won't work,
can't choose the place when erupts,
within you, within me...
Bringing the hurt, and pain,
slowly poisoning mind, leaving stains,
damaging ourselves, and relationships forever.
So, hear the voice,
hiding deep within the heart,
pricking, pressing, forming the scars...
Life has good things to offer,
accept with open arms, bring happiness,
within you, within me.
