History is important

History... is important,

more so, if it's neutral,

written by able hands,

passed down generations,

through oral traditions,

or carved into stones,

in various monuments,

displayed or laid hidden,

away from being plundered. 

For, the written ones,

are lost in transitions, 

decades to millenniums,

from sheets of paper, 

to language obscured,

everything changes,

facing the brunt of time,

with damaged portions,

making it indecipherable. 

But, here lies the messages,

from warnings to wisdom,

that have been forgotten,

faded from recent memories,

as our actions are detrimental, 

even to the surroundings,

would lead us eventually, 

into the lap of destruction...

As a punishment, for our deeds. 

So, remember, history is important, 

if not influenced, by our dominance, 

including every merit and faults,

seen through objective eyes,

sharing them as they happened,

without comments or conclusions,

letting the future reader to learn,

about our living conditions,

as they realize, even celebrate...

The legacy, we left behind.
