Changing traditions

There's something missing,

or it was always the same,

in the era of profit & losses,

we might have lost the game.... 

For, the world also revolves,

around materialistic influences,

a chain of supply and demands,

pulls this wagon, of our relations. 

It's a wonderful system,

when blessed with abundance,

but becomes a heavy burden,

facing lack of resources. 

Adding fuel to fire,

we force unrealistic expectations, 

break the delicate balance,

between commodities & consumers. 

So, negotiations would fail,

bringing stasis to our flow,

for, we were willing to wait,

letting stagnancy grow...silently. 

It's a pity, we couldn't change,

blinded by desires and aspirations, 

or merely victim, of changing situations, 

slowly becoming, unspoken traditions... 

And we become...

Both victim, and the perpetrator,

still a puppet, of this game,

of greed and corruption.
