Feeling dejected, I sat alone,
away from the crowded room,
distracting self from realities,
of brewing discontent inside.
No longer I dreamed of a life,
abundant world of magical kind,
where faces brimmed with joy,
like colors of rainbow in sky.
You arrived, like a fresh breeze,
warming heart with sweet smile,
as soft voice, calmed me down,
easing burdens, of an anxious mind.
Days were exciting, in your company,
time were spent, discussing topics,
getting your attention, cheers mind,
and I realized, we were something more...
But then, you were gone,
leaving behind, a deeper hole,
with longings, loneliness poured,
dimming the lights, you had shone.
Feeling dejected, I sat alone,
suddenly received a notification,
current flowed through my body,
for, we could meet, once more!
