Sparkling stars

Twinkling in the galaxy,

shining over the darkness,

like glimmer of hope,

illuminating over our kind.

So bright is their radiance,

every projection has a brilliance,

as we look towards the sky,

and wish that we could fly.

To the place, they reside,

while they swim over the tide,

enjoying leisure, having no worries,

as they relish life of luxury.

Stars they are, with many admirers,

having the means, elevated in status,

living their dreams with lavish lifestyle,

charming others into escaping reality.

There are many options to choose,

there is nothing much to loose,

everything is available in our palm,

as long as there's free time on hand.

Even if a lie, it's enticing,

in its charm and pleasures,

be it informative, or bad influence,

some distraction for lonely days.

A change of this information age,

be it a mere mortal or at universe scale,

we as a species need something special,

to follow, worship, or be inspired.
