A social phenomenon,
that involves the masses,
triggers are nonspecific,
and causes are varied,
yet, leaves lasting effects.
Mass hysteria...
A psychogenic illness,
which we have witnessed,
events in some communities
or prevalent in certain ages.
From shared beliefs among groups,
of exposures, to dangerous substances,
while being susceptible to anxiety,
rumors, leading to spread of illnesses.
For, they were prone to suggestions,
social platforms, enhancing effects,
when they have negative experiences,
affecting physically and mentally state.
Some may resort to self harm,
become violent, from fear & suspicions,
such actions having long-term impact,
causes personal & societal disruptions.
