Cyclones

Low pressures, at its inception,

when air rises, over warm oceans,

creating void, sucking up surrounding,

getting intense, under earth's rotation.

Cyclones...

They are incoming dangers,

bringing despair, from the destruction,

of life and livelihoods, on its path,

as it proceeds, make the landfall.

Strong winds assail the infrastructures, 

uprooting trees and power lines,

while heavy rainfall cause flooding,

displacing people, from their homes.

Storm surges, rising sea level,

drowning fishermen & sailors,

bringing distress to the traveler,

adversely impacting, our transportation.

So, warnings issued, by administration, 

with reviews, of disaster preparedness, 

planning ways, to mitigate its effect,

into the lives, of local populations.
