just life......

hey friends, Its a long time since I had written something....life is a little hectic these days, with wards to attend and exam so near, isn't some relaxed phase of mind to write poetry....

And then my day to day activities are not much fun to know either.....to prescribe medications to patients, measure blood pressure, insert Ryle's tube and catheter in hospital, definitely not a interesting thing to know....is it?

Then we have the Raksha Bandhan,Independence day and now today, its Anna's Fast and house arrest...a lot have been going on these days...such an interesting stuff...

So, after all these works, my 2 months of medicine internship are over and I can at least write something for my blog, something for the recent things and here I am. A small poetry, to start with though....hope you like it!

I have seen the world,
the Nation that stands,
the people it have....
the festivals being there,
celebration of life!

I have seen the hope,
the problems we face,
the sins we have.....
the truth being there,
being hidden from sight!

I have seen it all,
the emotions we felt,
the guilt we have....
the remorse being there,
just a little more to go!!

just some writing

Hello friends,

Hope all well from your side...Mine are not so good :) :)
anyway, its ages since I had written something about my life, I always tried some poetry's....though not as picturesque as a lot out their...I do keep it simple, may be I don't have much words in my vocabulary to play with :P

so, talking about my creative self...I do limit myself in few aspects of life..deeper, just too direct in words...to tell others what I observed, felt. I have seen lot others out there in blogger, too imaginative and expressive in their pieces. I had tried something different, but then returned from where I have started. You can never leave the actual path of your beginning, even though you have modified your approach...that's something defines you right?

Anyway,I was never good at grammars , but still, its one of my hobby, to keep something at hands....its someway of taking your point out from the life...your takes.

Its a good way, to keep track at your feelings, reading books or writing something helps you some way or other. Its true, writing could be boring, but then, its refreshing too. Take an example of today, I had my exams on morning...doing some social networking in the evening and then thought of blogging something but no subject what so ever come to my mind for poetry..and here I am writing just what's coming in my mind!!

its all about creativity,
to keep alive the imagination,
the fire, the design,
to express what you got inside.

You may be good,
or just being different,
but then, that's what you...
be the real world, or be virtual!

just some writing for me,
to refresh my mind,
to represent what I believe,
or my takes on the life..... :) :)

last week in college

Hello friends..

hadn't written much these months because of being busy at the college...Its our last month of classes in our college and last week being enjoyed in full swing!!..
We had this interesting concept to enjoy our last weeks of college, where each day we would dress in some cool way, a type of fancy dress and attend the classes!!...

For Monday--> Men in Black...all of the students wear black shirt, pants, black shoes, black googles and some with black caps...

For Tuesday-->Tapori style, wearing dirty/ shiny shirts, googles, chain, knife, handkerchief being tied on the pants, on forehead, wearing small accessories like ear ring, ring over the eyes{obviusly not pierced!!}, thumb rings...for a cool attitude!

For Wednusday--> it was desi/ Odia style....thats kurta and dhoti!!....

For Thusday--> Bathroom style...to attend college wearing towel, vests/ banyans..some also took balti, mug and toothbrush with them!!...and singing...All izz well.....

For Friday--> fancy dress...sadhu baba, raja, women{in Saree}

So all and all we had some fun..though I missed the last two but still we enjoyed the class....our teacher were at first surprised but then its a tradition being held for many years so they didn't say much against it!...

It was funny at first to watch people reaction for us when we went being Tapori and also in bathroom style as they were confused to see medical students in this attire...our classes are little far from our hostel so it was inevitable, the patients, people looked at us bit puzzled and surprised but then, it was all we wanted....

College life is indeed fun though its our last year in the college!

Enjoying my saturday!!

hello friends..

well..it was a hectic week for me in college..so, I was really looking forward to take some relaxing time out for Saturday...but it turned out exactly to be the opposite..I had some plans but it turned out that my family had a different plan..to visit 'Kapilash Temple'...Temple of lord Shiva, near our hometown Dhenkanal..but 100 km from where I stay!!...They had planned it for my sister and her animation group friend circle (she is a animator) but latter joined me.

I had some protest but had to turn in on the prospect of visiting the place with my friends..So, two of my friends made our plan visit separately the place yet join with my parents, my sister's group there. We missed the train so, took the bus to Dhenkanal....(could say it was far from comfortable!)..the bus was just packed with people..( thus hate to go in bus)..The plan was that, they would go in Bolero and we will follow them in bike from Dhenkanal..

Could describe a full page on our suffering inside the bus but that would be too long and you must be familiar with the conditions!!..So, lets start our journey from Dhenkanal..me with 2 of friends on my bike...( Now you will ask why 3 person on bike..surely no one would have wanted to be single out inside Bolero while other 2 on bike)..The temple was on the top of a mountain..The road are steeper, rough somewhere and moving uphill and that's what the tiredest part and funniest part of our journey..we stayed on some part ..clicked some photos..as a token of memory for us...At last we reached the top..They say there were more than 1500 steps ( large steps) from base of mountain to the top..yet as there was road for us..we had only to cover 50 steps..but tiring steps these were!!..there were lots of Monkeys..Indian rhesus monkeys mostly..
After our prayers and some sight seeing we went downhill..just at the base was Dhatatreya Sai
Ram ashram..we had some relaxing time there..After that we went for visiting..famous Dhenkanal Lakshmi puja there...We had to hurry as time was running fast and My friends needed to return that same night to Bhubaneswar.

Dhenkanal Laksmi puja was famous as whole city had been lighted for the occasion and there were more than 50 puja pandals to attend..it was like giant Mela..you will get tired but still find a lot more pandal to see!!..lighting everywhere!!.. We had fun..me with my friends and with family,..lots of food, fun and walking..My friends returned to Bhubaneswar, though I wanted to go..I stopped to sleep in our village..anyway, my family was here. At morning Today I had returned...

So, what o you think...Isn't the opposite of what I wanted to do with my Saturday..yet it was fun!!
