Negligence

They always show the signs, 

before breaking, crumbling down

with a sense of foreboding, 

warning us of potential dangers. 

Negligence... 

We are guilty of crime,

getting complacent in daily life,

only to be faced with repercussions, 

when things take a bad turn. 

There are regulations in place,

people have shared knowledge, 

letting them make right decisions,

when presented with difficult choices. 

For, there's nothing certain in life,

changes can be gradual or sudden,

adversely impacting us & surroundings, 

leaving behind guilt and sufferings. 

We have seen many examples,

unfortunate victims facing disasters,

for the mistakes of few ignorant ones,

leaving behind lasting consequences. 

So, let's be careful in our dealings, 

have healthy awareness of surroundings, 

to be prepared, prevent the plights, 

from the effect of our negligence.
