They were the middle generations,
knew the hardships of ancestors,
as they continued, with dedications,
treading on sacrifices of predecessors.
Individual rose in social ladder,
learning tricks to become better,
provide us with the foundations,
to create life of ease and comfort.
Yet, many have miscalculated,
while exploiting available resources,
giving wealth and their possessions,
and spoil children, with assistance.
For, those who lived in excesses,
abused the power, left damages,
falling to temptations and impulses,
destroying the functioning of society.
From human values, to climate change,
actions starts impacting, with consequences,
breaking spirits, of compassionate hearts,
feeling helpless, witnessing the ruin.
Yet, dark clouds, had silver lining,
as modernity, brought together minds,
spreading awareness, of the prevalence,
identifying and implementing solutions.
Civilizations have come to full circle,
treasuring, destroying, then protections,
being spearheaded, by today's youth,
having access, to relevant information.
And each blossomed, without nurturing soil,
away from grounds, but closer to sky,
using lessons, from previous exposures,
to invest in dreams, for a secure future...
Of human being and earth together!
