In the sea of achievements,
my thoughts brew discontent,
when expectations soars,
deficiencies brings laments.
More and more, trying to score,
yet, setbacks, closes the doors,
hardships of life, make us struggle,
missing chances, to indulge in pleasures.
For, our aspirations build figures,
to feel sensations, we need triggers,
a constant chase, attain par excellence,
disapprove others, for being mediocre.
Yet, the world, is fairly distributed,
sharing both fortunes & troubles,
if we empathize, better positions,
we might lose, worsen conditions.
In the sea of achievements,
I might have lost my way,
was it the fear, of being rejected,
and overthinking, lowering self-respect.
Then again, it could be anything...
Still, realities are unrelenting.
