We are not mere nation-states,
but have much deeper presence,
for, the concept of Bharatvarsha,
had been passed down generations,
engraved in the epics of this land.
It is embedded in our traditions,
boundaries of this subcontinent,
classified in geographical outlines,
still being united in common practices,
with rich spiritual & cultural history.
Ramayana and Mahabharata,
were inseparable part of our lives,
along with numerous texts & practices,
shaping society & our communities,
being continued as shared ancestry.
There's a sense of belonging,
every region has its specialties,
still woven in common fabrics,
a confluence of diverse thoughts,
through centuries of interactions.
So, we can never separate ways,
it is now streaming in our veins,
manifesting in habits or inclinations,
while some embrace it wholehearted,
taking pride in our birthplace!
