I have believed the wisdom,
transmitted through generations,
cultivating a sense of gratitude,
conducting self with inclination,
of mutual respect and appreciation.
Yet, realities were disappointing,
often defies my understanding,
exploiting weaknesses, & misfortunes,
their each action being calculating,
shattering trusts in the process.
Naive heart, left with scars,
changing directions or paths,
as doubts seeps in my mind,
became wary of investing in life,
filled with thoughts of optimism.
And, it activates a vicious cycle,
as opinions manifests in behaviors,
adversely affecting my personality,
letting people cement their beliefs,
alienating me further from society.
I have believed the wisdom,
of seeing others as our reflections,
as part of psychological projections,
but, I encountered grimy mirrors,
losing my identity, following others!
