In our world...

We like to remain,

living the way we do,

dealing with the change,

from afar, secured inside,

never take blind chance,

make conscious efforts,

to redirect our course, 

and accommodate,

wishes of other's. 

In our world...

We have acclimatized,

to be prepared for our life,

overcoming various challenges, 

to chase, attain the goals aspired,

building our respect & pride,

while giving us the time,

to invest in pleasures,

without the scrutiny, 

of guilty conscience. 

In our world...

We are too familiarized,

having limited exposures, 

from perspectives of outsides,

opening enclosures of our mind,

allowing fresh thoughts inside,

of adjustments, & sacrifices, 

against newer experiences, 

that demand our presence,

In both heart & mind. 

In our world...

We protect the sacred space,

yet, don't provide equal respect,

to other's views and interests, 

still expect them to comprehend, 

feelings we have conveyed,

while disregarding concerns,

being controlling & possessive, 

would fuel hurt and discontent, 

breaking connections made.
