When I yearned

If I yearn, when I yearned,

and your words, act like balm,

tried to manage, and to calm,

but they couldn't, heal this pain,

leaving behind, an ugly stain.

For, it needs no quick fixes,

rather a sustained attention,

increasing the flow of intentions,

assuring these broken emotions,

letting it change gradually...

Yet, you acted so blind,

too concerned for your time,

to be spared, for lonely soul,

getting weary, as days gone,

kept waiting, for your arrival.

Still, I longed, as I yearned,

for that moment, of our union,

from expectations, to disappointments,

changing colors, with circumstances,

and letting go, of my hopes....

To ever unite again!
