Beware of the rumors,

they spread like forest fires,

through falsehood & misdirection, 

distorting the truth, we desire... 

Like a fleeting whisper,

that caught our attentions, 

find itself a fertile ground,

in our lips and the ears. 

And slowly, it stretches tentacles,

leading astray, us genuine seekers,

falling in hands, of wicked designs, 

devised by some evil masterminds. 

Even the simple mistakes,

like difference in perspectives, 

can create havoc to the message,

sprouting doubts, in our mind. 

So, seek truth, with due care,

let reasons guide, and not fears,

for, rumors thrive on confusions, 

sowing discords, in the hearts...

Of our dears. 

Scrutinize, each word that's spoken,

and pause, before sharing to others,

let truth prevail, like rays of sunshine, 

dispelling the shadows, of the lies...
