Ancient structures speaks

These ancient structures witnessed

for centuries, prayers of the devotees, 

scented with aromas of dhup and karpoor,

fragrances of flowers, spread everywhere. 

The magnificent temple architecture amazes,

exquisite structures attracts & captivates,

walking of uneven rocky pavements,

where millions of steps had treaded. 

Abode of god, it's a sacred place,

where believers gather to connect,

carrying their wishes, show respect,

standing in lines, to have glimpses. 

And they pray, with open arms,

to receive blessings, of the deity,

doing rituals, with circumambulation,

of these grand temple complexes. 

So I walked, with deep reverence, 

admiring the efforts, that were made,

intricate carvings, delicately crafted,

presenting tales with symbolism. 

Still, these ancient structures speak,

of the energies, permeating in the air,

in the sounds of conch & chanting,

as human spirits reaches divine consciousness!
