Practice what we preach

It's not always within our reach,

still we pursue, and also teach,

wisdoms, ideals, and perspectives, 

when we don't ourselves...

Practice what we preach. 

Is it hypocrisy?

I have no answers,

for, it's a long journey,

of learning the discipline,

and becoming a master. 

Still, we have convictions,

of following right directions,

advocate our thoughts & visions,

persuade others to take actions, 

of spreading underlying message. 

Then again, we share our views,

for finding someone who listens, 

lighting weights, that burdens hearts,

or connect, over mutual interests, 

towards issues, that affects the world. 

Practice what we preach, 

might be a difficult endeavor,

when we encounter obstacles, 

of our own inadequacies,

or other's judgments.
