It's a mystery, how time changes,
when we are confined, in our spaces,
for, the world moves, to newer stage,
while we might lag, keeping our pace,
following our lives...
And then, comes some meetings,
when we gather, share our stories,
many new faces, people in places,
changing their acts and ways,
being adjusted to world's shades.
"Oh, you look the same person,
from the years, we have known"
these comments are pleasing,
but carries underlying meanings,
for not having enough exposures.
Should there be pride or pressure?
Of holding beliefs, values treasured,
not for the lack, or having comparisons,
but experiences, fulfilling expectations,
of oneself and treasured persons.
It's a mystery, how time changes,
when we witness, still on the fences,
the shifting tides, and crashing waves,
letting us discover, things we missed,
and confront, some uncomfortable truths.
