Let's build gardens as a craft,
planting, watering vegetable patches,
in our backyard, or the surroundings,
even use our roofs and balconies.
It's a blessing, having the land,
an open space, to create farms,
but limited areas, in urban dwellings,
refrains from enjoying, local produces.
Let's research, find right ingredients,
for enriching soil, making it fertile,
ploughing, leveling, adding manure,
to be prepared, for crop growth.
It might be hassle, to give care,
cleaning surface, watering plants,
being uncertain of time taken,
for our efforts, to reach harvests.
Still, do invest, in these activities,
as it brings, multitude of benefits,
by supporting our mental well-being,
for, the process, is deeply engaging.
Being connected to the nature,
reduces stress, lower cortisol levels,
improving mood, calming our hearts,
giving us purpose, & a creative outlet.
