All that glimmers,
is not a dream stage,
yet we were hypnotized,
by its beauty and grace.
Too much of a sparkle,
might make us blind,
ignoring what's important,
seeking an impossible sight.
The setbacks and obstacles,
disheartened with the failures,
all the goodness and positivity,
transforms into sadness and gloom.
It's this stage of hurt and pain,
something that's not in our hands,
gives rise to grudges and complains,
our envy causing the resentments.
Limited desires of old times,
it was more easier to survive,
now is the age of globalization,
been aware of things worldwide.
With each passing information,
enriching us with knowledge,
there are also the false hopes,
lurking somewhere to break our dreams.
