Turning a blind eye

We can't stop our adventures,

exploring places, travel the world,

being concerned, about environment.

For, we consume fossil fuels,

burn it in gallons, non-renewable,

like flying across the globe. 

And we become apathetic, 

to the cause of ecosystems,

for our daily necessities.

Digging coals, pumping the oils,

polluting water, air and soils,

without concerns, for our planet. 

As a consumer, we were blamed,

but won't criticize, how military spends,

in the preparation, of future conflicts. 

And we lament, loss of natural habitat, 

depleting resources, for our consumption, 

while turning a blind eye, on our actions...

As long as, it's justifiable!
