A car journey

Early morning, facing cool breeze,

riding our car, watching sceneries,

small towns, and passing villages,

waking up slowly, starting their day.

Deserted streets, coming to life,

shutters opened, loading of carts,

birds sings, while the dogs bark,

as our vehicle, moving past.

And I, admired the world outside,

bright mustard fields bringing smiles,

the farms shine, under golden lights,

with occasional grove, on the sides.

On outskirts, there were chimneys,

releasing the smokes, of brick kilns,

furthermore, arrives bigger factories,

where things are within boundaries.

The distance long, and ample time,

nothing comes to keep me occupied,

everything felt refreshing to city folk,

a heart that craves an adventure.

These journeys are long & tiring,

some find sleep more alluring,

yet, I enjoyed changing landscapes,

with or without settlements...

For, that's the true charm...

Of this travel!
