Helping the underprivileged

We don't give much thought,

but every person has its worth,

if not shown the due appreciation, 

words not heeded or promises broken,

would bring distrusts and disappointments. 

We only put ourselves first,

ignoring views of many others,

even when moving for their cause,

for the problems that we have brought,

for, they are the one...bearing the cost. 

We are the one who's lost,

while showing the path to the ignorant,

blinded by the pride of being learned, 

somewhere down inside we have scorned,

the life choices of their kinds. 

We should have given some thought,

so that we get off our high horse,

for, there's wisdom at every corner, 

with a pace that's suit their interests,

and we are just an observer... 

After all, even the underprivileged,

have something new to offer.
