Colors,
we perceive, we appreciate,
remember for a while,
keep them in our hearts,
but somedays, we forget.
Be the park we walked,
the music we listened,
bench we sat and talked,
ground where we played,
all become distant memories.
Your smiles and laugh,
the serious discussions,
planning and have an outing,
for eating and exploring,
as we walked on same path.
But life is always moving,
with changing situations,
be it success or failures,
in desires and aspirations,
as we chase our dreams.
So, just occasional chats,
some yearly wishing and regards,
then getting busy or occupied,
in sphere of personal life,
acting like total stranger.
Colors,
we see within,
as longing subsides,
prioritize and value self,
while embracing our solitude.
