Taking the easy way out,
finding excuses, to shout,
allowing influences to decide,
decisions, of our lives...
We want freedom and respect,
yet, forget duties, that entailed,
holding to the foolish pride,
letting go, of things important.
Even if our cause justifiable,
have we tried to be accountable,
communicating our boundaries,
to reach a consensus?
When we make agreements,
clarifying our need and concerns,
while being open to expectations,
we could make better decisions.
We know the world has changed,
there's seldom predetermined conditions,
still, human nature, doesn't change,
to be destroyed, by fleeting trends.
So, be aware, of your actions,
before blaming other's assumptions,
for, compromises were involved,
when we treat our connections...
