Confession of a foodie :P

I am foodie,
and I am proud to be,
with flavors and fragrance many,
I would love any new eatable wannabe!!

Not that I skip the regulars,
or be mad for some junk ones,
but it's the desire to taste new,
that make me check up the menu!!

Indian, Continental or Chinese,
just serve it on my table,
anything Veg or Non-veg,
will give equal respects to the label!!

I think of foods, how many I could have,
in this ocean of recipes, which one be my next,
I visit places, locations on my map,
each time expecting something better...new feathers on my cap!!

Fool are those who eat monotonous,
then why are we here in this world?
God has sent us here, with such appetite...
why waste our time in restricting one!!

Yes, price a problem,
and then there is traveling,
but then, Nothing comes free,
doing a little hard-work won't affect if,
The return would fulfill my belly...
yes, this is the confession .....of a foodie!

Crossroads

On the crossroad,
directions unknown,
and there was I,
looking on...to the horizon.
Had I been there for long,
or was just on my own,
moving on,looking out,
believing me for what I got!

It was a hot day,
harsh were the sun rays,
morning was just a memory,
the fun, the fresh being the meadow!
the path half taken,
still half needed to go,
decisions to take up soon,
yet here I was in another crossroad.

there were many, many yet to come,
my mind, heart, and the faith being tested,
but still a little rest could do,
moment to recall, to feel the past.
people, companions came and go,
teaches us a thing or two,
but in heart we got to know..
destiny is one, alone had to go!

Cool breeze touches my face,
cold earth in my feet,
evening sets in, calling me..
more path to cover, something new to discover,
so, I went, took a road I needed to,
hoping to get some, or fulfill inside,
looking back a little, crossroads of past,
waiting for a new one to rest ...to decide....where to go!!

Just questions :)

what I become,
what I tried to be,
had my responsibility is on to me?

what I thought,
what I expected to be,
had my experience not enough to me?


what I desired,
what I wanted to be,
had I accomplished what I got in me?

what I am doing,
what are my actions to be,
had I performed much I could ever be?

What I perceived,
what influence I had on me,
had I imparted on others the skills within?

what I had the aim,
or the path of destiny to be,
had I found or being near to realize the true me?

yes, these are the few..
or the questions you would ask,
but still its you, thoughts, acts, desires,
that make us what I wanted or deserved....
nearer or farther to the destiny, connect to the one...we ever be!!



just a few thoughts on this day of Swami Vivekananda's Birthday...and National youth day!!

first flight..

it's morning, the sun so early...
or just my eyes want it to be,
fresh air in my lungs,
swelling as the sky up there,
preparing for my first flight!!

branches feels so new,
old barks falling though few,
supporting the huge ambitions,
helping me as it knew,
steering me to this flight.

I took my stand, ready to take off..
little wayward but still on path,
wings resist as the gravity calls,
falling in trajectory to the ground..
but I hold on...my rebellious flight.

the wind wails, fierce it becomes,
the sky so blue...reaching the clouds,
everything so different, the freedom exhilarating
feeling the cold, the excitement so more..
and there was I on my fearless flight..

but someone is calling...asking my attention,
my family and friends on my side..asking to return,
"you have done great, now back to home...
its the only place you have to come"
thus ended my first, my own first flight!!

New year

So, New year came, a little celebration, unending resolutions, some hopes and some plans being made.

I had some fun myself..parties and hang-out....whatever we as a youngster take as fun!...but that's for me, and most of our kind!! Lets come to a common thought we all had..full of well wishes, greeting cards, sweets and you know what!
For me, I had spent hours just calling friends and messaging those whoever come to my mind, anyone left out means lot of accusation and hurt, but it doesn't matter when its done for a day..Someone is at Nightclub, pub, or a group party...family outing or some new innovation, New year is a time people have taken for celebration, though sometimes I think as in India, why actually we follow so much of English Calender!!

Confused? well we lot are because most of us don't know our original calender, our new year...you may say all over world, new year is like this only..but most of them are descendants from Europe...Chinese have there own New year, Then someone will say that we have different states each having there own new year/day for celebration...some take Diwali as new year, Baisakhi somewhere, Hindus have April 4 say falgun purnami and many others but still as a country we hadn't develop ours!!

Then it occurs to me....why should I think this lot, If there is a celebration then enjoy it...We in India love holidays and celebration but anyway, we should have some new year for ourselves..but till then, this is our new year...and my resolution would be....
stop think these nonsense and do some work!! :) :P
what about yours?

the year end..

the year....at its end,
time leaving , not to be back,
was it memories..good or bad,
a new resolutions to look ahead.

so, is this a celebration,
or there's party to have some,
just to enjoy the moments,
jubilant is the nation.

what about us..we people,
everyone with there life to be lived,
fun to have, dreams to achieve,
set some goals to perceive.

but still its a day,few to pass,
and there it is opening eyes,
new dawn of a new year....
just to bring in new things from it's box.


the year will go, as the new comes,
we stand there, with ourselves,
passing by, will be our world,
along with we will decide.

we could do anything,
party, sleep, or hang-out,
resolution to make or break,
and there are we all looking forward....
for a new year to come...new hopes, new aspirations, to come!!

Patterns for you

The shapes and the sizes,

also colors so different,

and they are all being present...

if we just look around!!

I see faces, I see life,

or just a simple sign,

I see structures, I see vibe,

and also the mature of mine.

Its on the walls, it's on the sky,

or you could observe it in daily life,

It's in your dream, it's in your aim,

or it's the destiny, for which you thrive.

Isn't it apparent, we so blind,

or may be the time haven't arrive,

but the patterns still emerging,

keeping them all in your sight.

You may say it's all fiction,

or just a figment of imaginative mind,

but it's not me, it's not about you,

It's just the pattern of our view.

Patterns it is, we just need to look,

and search for some of unanswered thoughts,

you may not find, it's so abstract,

but still there is always a pattern for you!!

patriots...come on!

Patriots, bring all..

competition calling, your people asking,

what if fallen behind,

come on and lead us in front.

we know money matters,

also a easy life we ask for,

but still there should be a cause,

one should stand for!!

yes, enjoy your part,

also run for your desire,

only making some changes,

taking en route to your country.

globalization, a world, it should be,

but forced interests are on us,

what way, it will take,

up or down is all we go!!

patriots, that's what all I ask for,

because, in your heart, you know..

this is what you ever wanted to be

just a little blurred it's becoming !!

patriotism say a lot about country's interest,

all we talk but little we do,

why should others do, it's your home too,

don't you know what we are going through?

past can't be changed but future so alive,

just the present is rotting away,

holding it is all we doing..

so, just don't sit back and watch,

come out, it's what a patriot in you wants!!

Consequence...a story

its wet and cold,

as these irregular projections hits me...

and there I was fallen,

tired and exhausted.

I couldn't walk, not anymore,

fought so much, weak I become,

sensation lost..feeling so numb,

waiting for someone, a hand to hold.

It was never like this,

it never meant to be,

there were riches, fame,

that's all surrounding me.

every thing good belongs to me,

exotic, rare collection being,

dreams had no place..no time to think,

ohh...those times, are all I have seen.

its full moon now, wind so harsh,

have I being ignorant of this fact,

tides come and go...sound so more..

difficult to concentrate or hear my thoughts.

everything was easy then...not so now,

there new emotions and grief coming how?

introspective, or just memories,

its only the results of the seeds I sow.

I had my chance, but so ignorant,

had my pride or ego making me truant?

now, being defeated, waiting to die,

alone, battered, tired fallen on this island.

I should have stopped...the path I had taken,

but near ones too busy, blinded by status,

I would have changed but no time to repent,

still being enlightened after all this.

My story, my thoughts will go with me,

but the reality will remain so be,

and I will see, wish to god,

No other one would face the consequence like me...

I, me and mine...

walking on the road,

alone, in the evening,

bundling out of some thoughts....

touching my mind like a breeze.

just to make rhyme,

or a few clever words,

I tried to assemble,

like joining of many strings.

the things I had ever spoken,

or used it on whole personality,

how much selfish it being wanting...

I, me and mine??

It's what I thought every day,

the wishes and desire built in,

I deserve for more...or more I want,

looking up around the lavish life.

envy, jealousy or pure greed,

but it could be innocent curiosity,

still it all come back to me,

as I walk on the road, thinking.

may be its not only me,

it's the introspection of many,

such is the awareness in inequality,

that not one is left untouched within.

abstract thoughts, it may be,

or it's just my selfishness,

what wrong did I make thinking....

I, me and mine??

the way ahead

the way ahead,

and I walk,

steps by steps,

strides by strides,

and I move on..

the stones do come,

so are the thorns,

but I had the flowers,

picked from the path,

and I hang on..

I listened the says,

I saw the world,

the thought I had,

woven around in my mind,

and I gain on...

sometimes I faltered,

patience got tested,

the blessings and wishes besides me,

such was the goodwill it brought,

and I achieves on....

yes...I looked back for a while,

counting expectations and accomplishments,

but the memories so sweet,

the attachments I made,

and I cherished on....

flow of music...

flow of music...

going through my mind,

evoking countless emotions..

some new, some old.

the pitch of the melody,

or the rhythm with it,

the sound so different,

hearing, as I sway.

countless feelings it stored,

countless are formed new,

but still its there,

waiting for me to appreciate it!

its the flow that works,

as I close my eyes,

something changes in mind,

the hidden desires or thoughts being.

each one is different,

as I craved for more,

satisfy, I will not become,

till the great minds are at work.

flow of music...

that touches your heart, your soul,

and you admire the genius,

that such things exist in our world...

......just enjoy the music..whatever you like.... :) :)

missing myself...

the worry, the stress,

the desires, the wishes,

or just being living...

missing myself...

watching movies or t.v,

browsing net or be lazy,

even just walking...watching others.

missing myself..

brooding for things I don't have,

wanting to have it all,

or just doing some window-shopping.

missing myself...

watching kids play at school,

the guys hanging out,

or just bunking, having time-out.

missing myself,

when I think, I feel,

whether do improve my skill...

or just being idle ...working out this for a good read....[:)]
